Milkshake Live! My First Concert

A couple of weeks ago, I took my little sister to see "Milkshake Live! My First Concert" which was based off the Channel 5 Milkshake channel. It featured a lot of characters that I grew up with and used to watch when I was younger such as Noddy and Rupert Bear!

The costumes were really good, they looked like life-sized replicas of the cartoons and the voices were exactly the same as the ones from the TV shows. The real presenters were also there and they were very enthusiastic and I enjoyed how they made it appealing for young children.

The music was very good too, most of it was children's songs but with an upbeat tune, almost a jazzed up version of each piece. The songs were sung by either the characters or the presenters and they always got the audience involved such as getting them to sing along or do the actions.

The stage looked very nice too and progressed through out the show (The plotline was setting a concert up so setting the stage was done as part of the show). By the end, it had lovely flashing lights and a brilliant platform for the concert to take place on.

I have to say, I quite enjoyed it even if it was for little children, it was a walk down memory lane and I wouldn't hesitate going again! I highly recommend this for young children, they will love the audience participation and seeing their favourite characters come to life!
